POST-CRITICAL MASS HALLOWEEN BASH!
Author: meredith :: Posted: Wed Oct 22, 2008 6:45 pm

Third Hand Bicycle Co-op (174 E Fifth Ave) is hosting a "freaky night of bicycle delight" and/or "a wicked night of bicycle mischief", depending on which part of their flier you believe (!), on Oct 31, 7-11pm. Visit them for a silent auction, costume contest, and yummy treats! It's a fundraiser so contribute to their awesomeness as you are able.

*Critical Mass leaves from the Statehouse at 5:30pm on the last Friday of each month.

Bike the C-bus!
Author: meredith :: Posted: Sat Jul 19, 2008 7:26 pm

Consider Biking is proud to partner with the Long Street Businessman's Association for Bike the C-bus, part of this year's Long Street Tour on August 23. Your $25 registration in Bike the C-Bus qualifies you for a $15 day-of discount towards a Consider Biking Membership!

The fee also includes an official 2008 "Long Street Tour" t-shirt and wristband along with drinks and food at designated rest stops.

Bike the C-Bus will cover approximately 30 miles and feature stops that highlight exciting changes that are occurring in our urban neighborhoods. Each stop will be sponsored by businesses and community groups and provides snacks, drinks and entertainment for the riders.

Bike the C-bus highlights the King Lincoln District, Downtown, Short North Arts District, Italian Village, University District, Harrison West, Victorian Village, Arena District, Franklinton, Brewery District and German Village. It is configured in segments for cyclists who don't wish to complete the full route; it is considered a ride, not a race, and offers a variety of course options to accommodate everyone from recreational riders to hard-core fitness enthusiasts.
