The Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival brings together a selection of 11 amazing films from the annual festival held the second week of January in Nevada City, CA. “The films include narratives coming directly from people throughout the world engaged in protecting our natural resources and wild places.” says tour manager, Susie Sutphin. “ The films highlight the “tipping points” that the planet is reaching. Yet portrays the “Turning of the Tides,” as communities realize what needs to change and how they are responding with creativity, resolve and heart.”

ODNR Division Of Forestry Strategic Plan and Open House Announced


Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division Of Forestry has announced the formulation of a new Strategic Plan to guide State Forest management for the next 2 to 5 years. In a recent letter to “Interested Stakeholders,” David Lytle, Chief and State Forester noted that the Plan is an effort to “focus our State Forest management activities on the highest priorities.”
